From Los Angeles Airport (LAX)

Public Transportation
To reach our Los Angeles Airport Hotel take free shuttle bus to Parking Lot C. Then take Santa Monica Blue Bus #3 (ask for MTA transfer - total fare 75 cents) to Lincoln and California Avenue intersection. Transfer to Blue Bus #2 going to Venice Beach. Get off at the intersection of Pacific Ave. and Windward Ave. To reach our Los Angeles Airport Hotel, after getting off the bus, head west to 25 Windward Avenue (look for the international flags on the roof of our Venice Beach Hostel).

Shuttle (Van)/Taxi Service to our Venice Beach Hostel

We have a great deal with a local shuttle service called "Coast Shuttle", who will bring you to us for only $14 for one person (and $8 for any extra person). All you have to do is call 1.800.449.8267 (free number) when you arrive to LAX. They will pick you up in less than 10 minutes, and will drop you off at our front door in less than 25 minutes. If there are three or more people traveling together, we recommend that you take a taxi to the Venice Beach Cotel Hostel. It is less expensive than the shuttle service (van).

From DOWNTOWN L.A. (GREYHOUND STATION)
1. Take Bus #60 or #360 outside Greyhound terminal TO downtown! Ask driver for a transfer ticket (total $1.60)

2. Transfer to bus 33 on Spring St. corner to 7th St. to Venice!

3. Get off on Windward Ave (50 minutes on the bus).

4. Walk toward the beach to 25 Windward Ave.

THE COTEL IS THE LAST BUILDING ON THE RIGHT BEFORE THE BEACH. IT HAS INTERNATIONAL FLAGS ON THE ROOF!

At night time it is best to take a taxi from the Greyhound station to the Union Station (Amtrak) which costs $5, and than bus #33 to Venice.

Driving from the South (San Diego/Long Beach)
To reach our Los Angeles airport hotel, take the San Diego Freeway (405) North. Exit at Venice Boulevard and travel west to Pacific Avenue. Turn Right (north) on Pacific Avenue and a Left (west) on Windward Avenue.

Driving from the North (San Francisco/Santa Barbara)
To reach our Los Angeles airport hotel, take the San Diego Freeway (405) South. Exit at Venice Boulevard and travel west to Pacific Avenue. Turn Right (north) on Pacific Avenue and a Left (west) on Windward Avenue (look for the international flags on the roof of our Venice Beach hostel).
